The EXM-50 features an LED illumination system allowing corded and cordless operation. For cordless operation, simply insert AA alkaline batteries (not included) into the battery compartment on the bottom of the microscope. The EXM-50 is super portable thanks to its integrated carrying handle making it easier than ever for students and teachers to move the microscope around the classroom. The viewing head is rotatable 360° making the EXM-50 easy to store, too.
