The cross between winged and wingless fruit flies yields a 3:1 winged:wingless ratio.
Males will have white eyes and gray bodies; females will have red eyes and yellow bodies.
All necessary materials are provided, including a hand lens with which students can easily distinguish the trait, as well as males and females.
