Learn the Mechanisms of Two Types of Weed Killers
- Collect and use local plants
- Includes teacher and student manuals
Students will investigate the effectiveness of selective and non-selective weed killers by applying each one to a mixture of weeds and grasses they collect and observing the results. Then, your students will run an experiment on the soil microorganisms to examine the effects that weed killers may have on these organisms and the possible unseen hazards involved with the use of weed killers. It comes with enough materials for six setups, as well as instructor, student, and assessment manuals.
