Demonstrate How Earth’s Motions Affect Seasons, Climate, and Visible Constellations.

Using a raised-relief globe, an infrared lamp, and LCD thermometers, your students can experiment with Earth’s seasonal and regional temperature variations, equinox and solstice, and rotation and orbit. The model also includes constellation drawings to illustrate how the constellations appear to change relative to Earth’s motion.

The kit includes a 12" raised-relief globe, one infrared lamp and reflector, three LCD thermometers, and instructions. A support stand for the lamp, required, is available separately.
