Rock Cycle Game

By playing this fun game, students will better understand the intricacies of the rock cycle, including the formation and breakdown of rocks and the processes by which one type of rock becomes another.

Playing in groups of four, students move around a laminated game board and record what happens to their sets of igneous, sedimentary and metamorphic rocks as determined by the Earth Process Cards, and then use those results to describe the rock cycle. The kit contains eight complete sets of the game so that your entire class can play simultaneously.
