Formalin preserved larynx. Available in pails.
- Mammalian anatomy
- High quality preservation
Our larynxes offer students specimens to explore comparative anatomy and physiology of the mammalian larynx. Professors can use the larynx to teach comparative morphology from both a developmental and functional perspective, as well as the relationships between structure and function and its involvement in respiration, locomotion, and vocalization. Specimens will either be from pigs or sheep based on availability. No species guarantee.
Note: Ward's® preserved sheep and pig materials are a byproduct of the food industry. Sheep and pigs are not raised specifically for dissection. These animals are recycled" for educational use."
